Telford Ski Racing Club is a none profit making organisation which exists to support and encourage young skiers and to give them training both on artificial slopes and on snow, to allow skiers to progress and compete at national and even international level if they wish.

The club has a track record of producing skiers of a very high ability and has Olympic competitors among its past members.

Telford ski slope is a compact friendly council run slope which offers friendly tuition to family groups and children.

Children from the age of 3 to 5 (from a shoe size 8) are taught to ski in a group known as the "Tinies". The emphasise is on having fun on skis, and children learn to ski almost without being aware of it. Many of the members of Telford Ski Racing Club, started their skiing careers in the "Tinies".

Children move on into the "Tigers", and from then on into the Telford Ski Racing Club.

Family groups of all ages are taught on a Saturday afternoon. The slope has an equipment chalet, and a bar/chalet. The bar chalet is also available for hire for children's parties, wedding receptions and dance, and for meetings/conferences during the day.
